Finally, movement

It's happened people, the number has moved, there must be something in this eating slower thing because I got on the scale this morning for my monthly weigh-in and I'd lost 2kg (4.4lbs) Yippeeee!! I'm trying not to make a big deal of this, trying to remember all my pledges to not get caught up in the numbers, but it's still a pretty sweet feeling to see that number getting smaller. 1. Let's keep it up Bernie! I've been joining you in eating slower and I am down also (although I haven't checked in two weeks, my clothes are much looser) I've been putting my fork down, chewing completely, taking a breath, taking a sip of water all before taking another bite. I still need to remind myself to do this as my natural inclination is just to shovel it in, but I think through repetition it will become habit. We can do it!

  2. (love Zoolander.)

great job on the loss---sometimes we need to get on the scale (I gueeessss :)) to get that boost and spark to keep going!

  3. That is great progress and so healthy :-) Well done!

  4. Thanks to all for the cheers of support, you da best :)

  5. VERY exciting!!!! Congrats- you are totally rocking it! Keep up the good work ;)
